TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE OPHIDIAN LABS 10 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY
What is Covered
Your Ectoscale 6 product is warranted against original defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated), when used in accordance with the operating manual.
Please retain your proof of purchase. This warranty provides, at no extra cost to you, all labor and parts necessary to ensure your product is in proper operating condition during the warranty period. The replacement of any part of your product under warranty will not extend the period of warranty. Any parts which are returned and replaced by Ophidian Labs will become the property of Ophidian Labs. This limited warranty is subject to the following terms:
What is Not Covered
Ophidian Labs shall not be liable for costs, damages or repairs incurred as a result of, due to, or from:
- Careless operation or handling, misuse, abuse and/or lack of maintenance or use not in accordance with the operating manual.
- Use of the product other than its intended purpose.
- Use of parts not in accordance with the Ophidian Labs user manual.
- Faulty Installation.
- Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorised parties or agents.
- Normal wear and tear, including normal wearing parts or where external damage or abuse is diagnosed.
- Damage as a result of use not in accordance with the rating plate.
- Damage caused by the user.
Important Safety Warning
In the event of a fault on any parts of your product, do not open the unit and discontinue use straight away. Any tampering including cutting wire or drilling holes in the casing will render the guarantee void. Please contact Ophidian Labs Support immediately.
Return & Administration
If returned within one year of purchase there will be no charge. After this time there may be a return shipping and administration charge. International customers please contact us for a return shipping quote.
No liability is accepted other than for the repair of a faulty product. This does not affect your statutory rights.
